Our stats system decided to take a vacation (without telling us) sometime on Saturday. We noticed the problem right away but decided not to play with the production system over the weekend. We’re working on bringing stats back online right now and start catching up on stats processing. It’ll probably take the next 24 hours or so to fully catch up once we discover and resolve the problem.

As usual, DNS was not impacted and is not impacted during this event. Neither are preferences or anything else; our stats systems runs “out of the line of fire” as we say.
