For approximately 2 hours, ending at ~00:30 UTC on March 6, requests from our New York servers to a large domain hosting company’s authoritative DNS servers were blocked by that hosting company. During that time, any domains hosted by them not already in the OpenDNS caches would not resolve because our requests for the address were not being returned.

We’ve worked around the problem. Service is completely clear. We are discussing the block with the domain hosting company in question.
